    Apothecary Hall housed the Peter O'Mara Drug Store from 1922 to 1986. It was one of the last surviving old drug stores to operate in Newfoundland and the second home for Peter O'Mara's business, which had operated out of 484-486 Water Street as The West End Drug Store from 1899..

MANL's conference brings together museum professionals, volunteers, staff, students, and supporters with diverse backgrounds and interests from across Newfoundland and Labrador, and Canada. The conference provides a comfortable environment for delegates to meet, share, express ideas and topics of concern with one another, as well as attend professional development workshops.

Be sure to register early for the AGM in order to avail of the training that most interests you – spaces will fill up fast. Planning to attend this year's 38th AGM & Conference? Be sure to apply for a CMA Bursary! The application deadline for bursaries has been extended to September 14.
